There is good news for Senior Home Owners over 62 years old.  The U.S. Government through HUD has an insured loan program referred to as a Reverse Mortgage that only Senior Home Owners are entitled.  It is Federally regulated and Government insured to protect Seniors.  The sole purpose is to enable Seniors to get to the equity they've built in their homes so they can continue to live in their home.  Under this program, Seniors still own their home with their name(s) remaining on the title while eliminating mortgage payments for the rest of their lives.  There may even be enough equity to also finance "Long Term Care".  A Reverse Mortgage is based mainly on two things; namely, the age of the Senior and existing equity in the home and not on income or credit history.  This is an option that all Seniors should know about and is the mission of of our company.
